ManyCam is a web camera application for Windows platforms. There are many restrictions within the system for the use of web cameras. And even some of the features that should be already available for the user are not to be found anywhere. ManyCam deals with some of those issues. The first thing you will notice is that ManyCam lets you bypass the limit of applications that can use the web camera at once. So, if you have Skype, Live Messenger and Google Talk opened, you can use the web cam with any of those. The rest of the features are more aesthetic than anything. ManyCam allows you to add several animations to the background of your image, a la Mac. If you stay still for a second, ManyCam will be able to detect your background and then swap it for an animation of fish swimming or a waterfalls, etc. You can also add text to your webcam feed. You are also given the ability to show the date and time of your system in there, like the other person wouldn't know, right? Not every application works with ManyCam but there is a list of applications that do. Manycam's latest version is 2.3. However, this review deals with version 2.2.

Oct 21, 2010 ...Paltalk bought Camfrog Video CHat and disgustingly screwed everyone by revoking their Paid LifeTime Licesne Updates. They deleted everyones outrage on Camfrog forum & blog by silencing or blocking all the topics of outrage or concerns of what took place during this time ON TOP OF THIS .. Paltalk paid there webmaster to secretly delete all the the wordings of LIFETIME LICENSES UPDATES from the camfrog website overnight to hide from being sued however on waybackmachine theres an original copy that stiipulates the warranty and guarentee of PAID LIFETIME LICENSE UPDATES.
